Hi, I'm Deb
For decades, my work has centered on people, growth and change.
I built my career in Human Resources, then professional trainer, teaching communication, conflict management and leadership development. I later moved into sales and sales leadership, while continuing my work as a writer, inspirational speaker, ordained minister, and coach.
Eventually, my own life asked me to use everything I had spent years teaching others.
I knew how to help people navigate change.
I just hadn't realized I was about to have to navigate so much of my own.
The Question
When did the life I built stop feeling like my life?
I had built a life.
Worked hard. Loved people. Survived things.
Did what needed to be done.
And still, something in me kept whispering:
This can't be all there is for me.
I didn't want to blow up my life.
I just knew I couldn't keep living it the same way.
The Shift
Life has a way of bringing us to that moment. Of realization. That we weren't waiting for our calling to become clear. We were resisting what we already knew.
For me, it came through seasons I never would have chosen... cancer, loss, letting go, starting over, and discovering that it's not about striving harder or pretending to have it all together. It's this:
My responsibility to the calling I'd been entrusted with became greater than my fear of answering it.
